The burning of incense is a long-standing tradition throughout many cultures and civilizations. We burn incense to clear the air, set a mood, release negativity, and alter our consciousness. The scents are not only pleasing but can affect real change in our mood and environment. I often use incense while mediating or performing rituals, choosing the fragrance carefully to assist me with my intention. Lavender can be soothing, relaxing and freeing. It is strengthening and assists our ability to dream. Rosemary is clearing and helpful and aids in focus. Sage and Cedar are cleansing and purifying. Jasmine and Rose are mood lifters, sensual they open our hearts to joy. Ginger helps to relieve stress quiets the stomach and is supportive of good health. Peppermint revitalizes and energizes supports digestion and overall health. Frankincense, Cedar, Sandalwood and Aloeswood are great for prayer and opening to spirit. So, whether you are planning to sit quietly at home and mediate or have company over for an evening of joy and celebration, incense can be a wonderful tool to include.

I have spent a great deal time searching for an incense that is both evoking, long lasting, light, and gentle enough to use at anytime. Upon finding it, I literally jump up and down.
